Soggy Winter Nights — The Asbury Park Mermaid®

Soggy, winter nights in Asbury Park are more than a mixed bag. The piled heaps of snow let off fog and steam, creating a weird haze that just hovers over the boardwalk. The air isn't quite as bitter as it could be, making an overcoat a needed nuisance. Still, there's something to be said about stepping onto an desolate boardwalk, hanging between shadows and ghosts... Purposely not wanting to wake Summer's slumber.
